    Market action lived up to its seasonal expectations. All three TSP stock funds added more than 1% for the week rewarding those who bought in after the previous week's rally. This was the fourth consecutive week of gains for the C-fund, yet the C-fund is still outperformed for the month by the S-fund. The S-fund currently holds a gain of 10% for November with four trading days left for the month.

  2. TSP Talk Weekly Wrap Up



    Coming off an already impressive start to November, the TSP stock funds continued that success with a jump higher on Tuesday in response to the latest Consumer Price Index (CPI). Consumer prices rose 3.2% from the previous year according to the Tuesday report. This was less than expected and down 0.5% from the previous month's year-over-year increase.

  3. TSP Talk Weekly Wrap Up - FOMO Fuel


    The S&P 500 (C-fund) was the preferred destination for eager buyers this week. The large cap index's price did not stray too far from even for most of the week, but the underinvested jumped into the index Friday to lift prices more than 1.5% on Friday. The S-fund also enjoyed a gain of over 1% on Friday, but its early weakness in the week left it with a weekly loss of 1.5%.

  4. TSP Talk Weekly Wrap Up



    Stocks experienced a strong bounce off their most recent lows this week, and it was a week that you would not want to watch from the sidelines. Both the C and I-funds had weekly returns over 5% while the S-fund outperformed with a gain of over 7% in five days.

    Stocks struggled through most of October. Many investors were expecting some relief, but this week's action was unimaginable. There does not seem to be a direct source of the rally outside of an oversold bounce
