Be careful what you post regarding the election and political candidates...

    From Fedsmith.com:

"How many federal employees will find themselves in trouble for violating the Hatch Act as a result of partisan political activity during the election cycle?"

Wow - thanks Tom. I guess this place feels so much like home that I just carried on as usual. Anyway I'm done and hope whatever I said doesn't cost me.

Tom, thank you so much for the reminder about the Hatch Act restrictions! The possibility of job loss or suspension is a scary penalty for something we think of as a chat among friends! And although I'm no longer a federal employee, as a contractor it would still behoove me to remember the rule. So I'll consider myself "behooved"!

    Thanks again,
    Lady

I was taught if you can’t say something nice about someone, you shouldn’t say anything about them at all. So, as far as politicians go, I have nothing to say.
Maintain a positive attitude, focus on what you want and show gratitude for what you have…

Politics and Religion always bring out the best in people.
We're taught never to engage in such conversations with
the inmate population, out of fear of esculating differences.

IMHO, everyone has a right to express their views within a
thread that was designed and based on such topics. Always
be respectful of one anothers opinion, even if you don't share
    the same view.

With that said; Fire when ready griddly. But don't shot until you
see the whites of their eyes. I'm keeping my eyes closed until after
the National Election. (just kidding). Have fun and go at it !

Just how do you expect me to respond without a Gov't Computer.
Surely you don't think I can afford my own on such a dismal salary.
