  1. It is all tied to the dollar. if gold goes up and the dollar goes up NUGT will usually lose money. If gold goes up and the dollar goes down it will rocket higher. So It's only sort of a gold fund. Never buy it with unsettled money, you do not want to get caught having to hold it when it goes south. It's harder than it looks to pick the right direction so I try to always use stops to keep me from holding longer than I should. Best of luck, jt

    've been trying to figure out dust and nugt, but have been burned pretty bad. Any advice?
