Light week

Stocks were up modestly yesterday and bonds rallied again.  The S&P 500 seems to be having problems moving over the prior high.  This could just be a temporary pause as the indices gather steam, or it could be a sign that stocks are fatigued and will get a needed rest.

The dollar is pulling back from its recent rally.  Oil is still near $69 a barrel.  Bond yields dropped again yesterday.  The rest of the week is a little light economic news-wise but next week we have an FOMC meeting.  That should be fun.

The EbbChart System remains in the I-fund today but things get active the rest of the week.  Read more on the ebbchart page.

Trader Fred's
TSP Trader System is sensing a 1% or more move one day this week - probably Thursday - based on a recent pile-up in the summed NYSE volume chart.  Unfortunately the direction of that move is not known as the indicators are split.  He suspects down since no submodels are currently in the market, but Fred isn't big on trying to guess.  Read more from Fred on the system page.

Another busy night for me last night so that's all I have today.  There really isn't much going on anyway.   I am currently 100% F fund.  See you tomorrow!
