Greenspan's Finale.

Today's Fed meeting will mark the final day in Fed Chairman illustrious career and the beginning of the new Chairman Ben Bernanke.  That is a bit of a question mark for the market as is what they will say today.

For that reason I won't even venture a guess as to what might happen.  I will mention that any strong move one way or the other after the announcement at 2:15 PM ET, tends to reverse itself in the days that follow.

One thing I will talk about is February.  Looking at some historical data we see that February is the one month that doesn't fit well in the November through April six month stretch of strong gains for the market.

Other than the final trading day of the month, February is historically very mediocre at best.

With the Fed hanging over us, I am going to wrap up today's market comments by answering some of the frequently asked questions I received the past two days regarding RevSharks TSP Timing Newsletter.

Q - My password doesn't seem to be working in the members' area.

A - This new member's area is completely separate from both the message board and the email
alerts.  You will have to create a new account in the member's area to access the newsletters.

Q - I signed up but the newsletter is not displaying.

A - The newsletter will be in PDF format so you will need an
Adobe Reader (Download it free here.)

Q - Do I need two accounts to view the newsletter from my work PC and my PC at home?

A - No. The email address you signed up with will be used as your username and will work from
any PC.  However, we will monitor the accounts for any suspicious user activity so please do not
give out your password to anyone.  See the user agreement for more information.

Q - I went through PayPal to sign up for the free trail but I still can't view the newsletters.

A - That may have been caused by using the "back" button before the process was complete.  If this
is happening to you, either send me the email address you used to sign up, or forward the
PayPal confirmation to me, and I will verify the account and activate it manually.

Q - Do you take any other type of payment other than PayPal?

A - Not yet, but I expect to add another credit card / e-check payment gateway within the next week
or two.  If you wish to pay by check I will accept them for six month subscriptions.  Send them
     to the
TSPtalk.com, P.O. Box 13213, Ogden UT 84412, BUT you must send me an email when
you send the check so I know to expect it.

Q - Why do I have to go through PayPal to get the free trial?

A - This is how PayPal set up their subscription process.  It also helps us get a better idea of
how many people may be signing up.  I can understand not wanting to give out your credit card
information when you are undecided so what I will do is make this week's issue available as a
sample issue next week.  This way the people subscribing will always have the latest version.
Sound fair?  Either way, no one will be charged until the trial period ends.  If trial subscribers
cancel before the trial period ends, they will not be charged.

Q - How come your allocation on your allocation page is different than what is in the newsletter?

A -  The author of TSP Talk is not the same person who writes the TSP Timing Newsletter.
      RevShark writes the newsletter.

Q - Will RevShark send out email alerts when he changes his allocation?

A - Being that this is a weekly newsletter, I don't believe so.  RevShark is very busy running his
hedge fund during the week.  That's one reason our newsletter comes out on the weekend.
He also writes several articles each day for his website SharkInvesting.com, realmoney.com,
and Around the Reef on our site.  He is also in the process of writing a book that will be released
     later this year.

That’s all for today.  Thanks for reading.
