And down again

The market can't seem to decide what to do.  The last 3 trading days have seen huge 1% to 2% swings,  giving us a big down day, a big positive day, and yesterday another big sell-off on more credit issues.

Our thinking has been to buy weakness and sell strength and that would have worked (assuming we could still actively trade).  With yesterday being down big, the recent trend would have us looking for a positive day today.

The negativity has gotten to the point where we should see a rebound.  I have said that before and we have seen rebounds, but they just haven't lasted.  This week's sentiment survey buy signal is based on a 0.64 to 1, bulls to bears ratio, and that should be enough to trigger a rally some time this week - even if it doesn't last more than a few days.

I will get into it more later this week as I don't have time tonight (Monday).  I just got home after a seven hour drive and had just enough time to update the premium services pages, the recent returns pages, which I have let go since before the holiday, and get to a few more emails.  But I will be back to "normal" tomorrow.

Before I go, one of our message board members, James, wanted me to pass along this information about what you can do about the new transaction limitation.  Please take a look if you get a minute.  Thanks!

That's all for today.  See you tomorrow.
