Today's Comments (Short Term Outlook)                            
OK, it's today

Sorry for the mix up yesterday.  This week's FOMC meeting was held both yesterday and today, with today being the release of the policy statement and interest rate decision.  So everything I said yesterday, goes ditto today.

Yesterday's action was not much of a surprise.  The market gave back some early gains as there is some uncertainty leading into today's announcement.  Most expect a 0.25% rate cut but the key will be the policy statement.  Will they mention inflation as a concern?  Do they believe the prior rate cuts have helped?  Will the housing market continue to put pressure on the economy?
