Today's Comments (Short Term Outlook)
Running with the bulls

I'm not exactly sure why the market continues higher, but it obviously is.  The stock funds added another 2% to 4% on the day and the weekly and monthly returns have been astonishing.

The S&P 500 is flying up toward its next resistance level, and while this rally is great news for the bulls, the higher it moves without some consolidation, the further down the support levels get and the more likely that the inevitable pullback will be steep.

That said, enjoy it while it lasts because this is an historic month as far as returns go.  The indices are obviously very overbought and bullishness is on the rise, and a pullback is due.

April is historically very strong but March will be a tough act to follow.

I messed up the TSP Talk Sentiment Survey email alert yesterday so I resent it with the correct info.  I will be posting the results sometime this morning on www.tsptalk.com/sentiment.html and on the message board.  The preliminary results show that the system will likely give us a sell signal after a +13.5% gain so far in March.  The system is up 1.6% in 2009.

A pullback is coming.  How long it will last, or how deep it will be, I don't know, but it is coming.

That's all for today.
Thanks for reading.  Have a great weekend!
