ATR - End of the Day

The markets ended on a higher note and we were very pleased to see today's action. The only troubling issue to mention is the weakness out of the semiconductors however considering some negative comments coming out regarding INTC and AMD, we aren't too surprised. Volume was a bit light today however breadth was a very strong 3 1 positive.

We were very active today playing this bounce, however over all we were net sellers on the day using the solid action to scale back on laggards. We will typically use a bounce such as this to weed out the stocks that are technically unhealthy and start to actively seek out new names with much stronger charts.

Today's action was solid however we are in no way out of the woods just yet and need to keep in mind just how quickly this market can turn. Just because we've gained some ground does not mean we can be careless with our capital.
