Another subject but closely related: I made a change on 10 March, then deleted the change on 11 March, but last night I got the email saying the original change would be effective 13 March. I am I Hawaii, so behind ET by 6 hours, so didn't see the email until this morning. I called thrift line, she was very cordial, and tried to revert me back to original selection, but system would not over ride it, and could not give me another oportunity to make a change if I wanted too. I did get a cancellation approval, and she could see it on the screen........but, this company's software will not allow changes made after WS Closing. I am not happy with this as it cost me about $28K..........is there any appeal avenue?? Peace
I don't see how any financial intuition would allow a cancel the next day. Maybe during that window after noon ET and the time they process the day's transactions for the TSP, but once that money has been processed and the market opens the next day, that money is in play.

While I agree with the Moderator..........the fact remains I made the cancellation before the 12PM deadline........my point was, it never registered.
Thank You. Viettim
