Thread: No Transfers to the G-fund?

I think he was saying he made the transfer successfully, per the website, but it never actually happened. Can you tell if the money in your account is actually in the G-fund now?

I transferred to the G Fund on Friday, February 24th. I just checked my account and it shows that I am currently 100% in the G Fund.

I transferred to 100% G February 21st. I checked and the transfer to G worked.

I made a transfer to the G Fund a couple of weeks ago and it is showing up in my account as 100% G Fund.

Some follow up... The member let me know that the move to the G-fund in question actually did go through after all. So he was given misinformation and it was a false alarm.

According to another lengthy tsp call with a different supervisor this morning they now tell me that all participant transfers to the G fund have been suspended due to the statutory ceiling on the federal debt. They said no one has been able to make a transfer to the G fund since 23 Jan.
