I think we all ought to go in person.
Might have more “impact” if all of us show up and tell them what we think of their new system.

The more I listen to ETAC meeting, the less I like. Much back-patting and atta-boys regarding recent TSP changes. Helping me make up my mind to move my $ out of TSP after retirement.
Not good. Did they know people were listening? They could at least pretend to have some sympathy for the users.

They did acknowledge there were problems and issues, and shared how things have progressed since going live. So not all bad. My key takeaway is that TSP is government run program that contends with many different and diverse interests, unlike a Fidelity, Charles Schwab, Vanguard, etc.
At the begging of the meeting, Tanner Nohe, the Converge Program Manager was giving a presentation about the new system.
Most of what he talked about was covered in the response to Congresswoman Norton's letter.
I agree with Alexreb about how the board members were treating Nohe. It seemed like some kind of hug fest. They kept praising him on all of the hard work they are doing instead of asking him why the roll out is so screwed up.
The FRTIB doesn't care. At least I didn't hear it during this meeting. Who knows what is going on behind closed doors.
10 percent of account holders can't login. This appears to be a software problem. No one on the board asked why after all of this time, and testing that this could happen or when ii would be fixed.
Account creation security was ramped up on June 1st to prevent hackers. They obviously didn't consider a bunch of legit customers would be inconvenienced by this. I think they expected few problems with their identity verification algorithm so only hired a few reps.
No mention at all about the usability of the website.
TSP is purposely holding back on providing info to customers via email because it is leading to an overload of calls to the Thriftline.
Again, there was no challenge from board members on anything Nohe said.
Everybody needs to flood each individual member of the ETAC and the FTRIB board with letters of complaint.
