Boy, am I glad I rolled over my military TSP in Jun 2020 to TD Ameritrade. This sounds like a nightmare. I'm sure it will eventually get sorted out. But, still. I do have a very small civilian account (I remained at the job only a few months). I tried to set up my new login, but I could not get past uploading my ID. It kept saying that it wasn't "clear." I guess I'll also roll that one over to TD Ameritrade.

By the way- the system recognized me and my phone number without a hitch, so I did not have to do the drivers license thing.

I found that NOWHERE does it tell you HOW MANY shares you own. It only tells you the total dollar amount in that fund at that exact minute.

Which means it is WIDE OPEN to potential fraud and theft. Someone inside could easily steal “a tenth of a share”, or round up or down on the Pennies, and the account holder would have no way of determining the theft took place.

Default NEW WEBSITE IS NOW ACTIVE- SIGN UP NOW.

Here are the share prices from TUESDAY close, I believe. I can’t tell for sure if “June 1 price” means what it is after the close, or what it is before the open .

If it’s “before the open”, then Wednesday’s prices are not yet available. The data is there now, but I find it too early to think it’s WEDNESDAY’s closing price. But it might be.

Also note that they went from four decimal places, to SIX decimal places on share price.

But without the number of shares owned, that information is useless and we are all open to major theft by the TSP, it’s workers, it’s contractors, or anyone working within the system, and we have no way to cross check ourselves.

Here are some photos of Tuesday’s prices:

Why try to log in even if you have to create a new account to let a not ready for prime time software set a cookie that does who knows what. Yes I am disturbed about the way this is rolling out.
I have been a part of many .gov software rollouts over the years. I tend to agree with NASA1974 that someone may have released this to the users prematurely. I have also seen vendors use the user as Beta testing.

Po- please note that I read they are NOT payout out on the previous schedule now- they only are paying out once per month, on the 15th of the month. So if you were expecting your payout on the 5th, I think it won’t come until the 15th, (or a day or two later).

Fairly smooth tonight to set up account - it recognized my phone number. As others have said, many dead links and data is not filled in prior to May 26, no prior statements, no meaningful personal investment performance, etc. Tried the Mutual Fund window and was able to set up an account (didn't fund it yet - not thrilled to pay the annual fee and burn an IFT.) It glitched but I finally got in fully after closing the browser and re-login. The MFW is also not populated fully. You can search funds using various criteria and it functions fine once you narrow down a list. A bit of a trip seeing, for example, the proportion of a fund's holdings that involve handguns, tobacco, etc. Very ESG friendly. Also allows sorting on historical fund performance, for those that go in for that sort of metric. But when you select a fund to learn more about it, a new window pops open, which seems good, but there's no data populated behind it, so it was a blank window tonight on the few funds that I tried. Back to the TSP savings account, the balance looked accurate compared to a statement from just before the transfer. And I was able to confirm new funds went in last Thursday May 26, for those still getting a paycheck. I understand why they haven't announced a big reopening yet - still lots of tinkering needed - but some good signs for early date.

Hey folks I don't know what I am doing wrong but I ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY CANNOT LOG IN!!!! I have tried multiple times to create my new account and when I finish setting it up I go to log in only to receive a message on screen telling me my username and password are incorrect. Yes this is horrible!!!

I found it, but it doesn't appear to be a simple address to pass along. At least I haven't seen one.

This is an image of the full URL:

    I'll keep looking.

Also, please let me know if anyone is able to successfully make an IFT so I can activate the AutoTracker again.

    Thanks!
