    Default New TSP website.

I don't know about anybody else, but for me, the new TSP website absolutely could not have been a worse design change.

I can't easily navigate to "share prices" daily on my iphone, and logging in to check the balance is just as bad or worse.

They made the whole site, apparently, for the NEWBIE person who has never been to the website before.

Plus I had programmed in automatically updating our share prices from their share price page, but it changed to the point where I now have to input them manually again. No problem though. There's only 15 funds now.

Most people, I should say older people, don't like big changes. I found that out after redesigning our home page once. That didn't last.

    I don't mind change.

I mind when the person who created the "requirements" document doesn't have a clue who their customers are, or how their web pages are used, and spends literally MILLIONS of dollars on a webpage design that isn't anywhere near as user friendly for the people who visit it every single day.

Worked for me, but had to post a verification code! Pain in the haplessness.computer-smash.gif

I'm ok with the verification code. Extra security.

Not a big fan of the new website. I do like the one part where you can look at the monthly numbers.

For the new website did anyone get involved in a beta test? My guess would be no one involved in TSPTalk.

I gave “feedback” about a dozen times over a month, but I have to say they didn’t change anything that I could see.

They need to roll back to the prior web site. It will not allow a Mac computer to do a withdrawal! The “help” desk said I must use a windows pc with google chrome browser!!!! They are aware of the problem and said it would be weeks before it is fixed. In the mean time, we are losing money.

That's unacceptable. I would call my congressman's office and have them rattle some cages.

So today I am browsing through web pages on the new TSP website.

    And I found some errors.

Each "fund page" gives a "year-to-date" return for the fund- but it's not updating daily. In fact, I think the data there is from like May.

And this little gem- the "F" fund page says that it is tracking the Dow Jones Total Completion fund. (OOps-- that's the S, not the F.)

Somebody didn't proof read very well...
