Yep. Issa- "R". Coburn- "R" Burr-"R". They are just a few of the ones trying to kill pensions for federal employees. But you really can't talk about that on this website. You are more than welcome to visit http://www.beltwaytalk.com/showthrea...4337#post14337 and talk about the destruction of federal employee benefits by those whom have the "R" after their name.

I suspect some would be overjoyed if we FEDS were to start fighting amongst ourselves more than we do now. There is some CSRS envy where I work but I mention to the FERSers complaining that they knew the rules when they signed up or if they didn't, they should have.

If such a program eliminating the FERS annuity were to be made the law of the land I wonder how it would effect people under apprenticeships or other "train the worker" programs.

If you wish to say bad things about politicians with Rs following their names, follow James' link. You can also go there and say bad things about politicians with Ds after their names. I encourage that actually. It's kind of fun to watch the re-education efforts.

This is part of their war of attrition to get fed employees to look for work in the private sector to lower the budget.

If any of you CSRS retirees are reeeeally feeling guilty, don't send your money to protesters or the US gov. Send it to me, a still working FERS guy. I promise I will put it to better use than any of the above. No checks please, I'll set up a pay pal account if needed but would prefer envelopes of money be sent to a PO box rented for the purpose. I know you have the cash buried somewhere.
