I was in the top 10 for one day this month. Does that count as a congrats to me?

I agree with Sniper, first time out of the market in about 4 months. Got out because of the toppy reports and I just broke the 600K mark. Wanted to savor it a while... Waiting for the moment to get back in.

sweet that's some nice bank. I'm still trying to hit 50k haha, but I'm still rather new to the TSP system

I know this was not directed to me, but I have been in the 600K area for some time. All due to contributions and matching, no rolling in of outside accounts. Started TSP in '87, made it to 600K in Dec of '08. Got back up again to 600K finally in Jan '12. But sitting now at 595K.

Hard question. I was hired in '88 but being young and ignorant paid little attention to TSP not to mention didn't make very much. I remember way back about '94ish getting my quarterly statement and discovered I had lost 16k, about had a stroke. That's about the time I set out to learn as much as I can (still very little) about investing. That's the long way to tell you really about 17-18 years.

600K has been my glass ceiling also, been flirting with it for a while and finally broke through. That's why I wanted to savor it a while although it looks as though that was a mistake...
