Thread: Good Charts for the S Fund

    Hello all,

I'm looking for an S Fund (Wilshire 4500) chart very similiar to the one that Tom posts at the top of the message boardwith a linkto Yahoo. The problem with that chart is that it only goes back 5 days on the Technical analysis. I'm looking for things like: trends in volume over longer periods of time, Slow SToch, MACD, and moving averages all on the same chart for the Wilshire 4500, all over longer periods of time more than 5 days. Any help or suggestions out there?

By the way, The C Fund link to Yahoo goes back a ways in time with the indicators I need, and the I fund as well, but not the S fund. I have no idea why.

Thanks for your help in advance.

    Try www.stockcharts.com and use $EMW.

Thanks Show-me. That chart site is great. I don't think that they track volume for the Wilshire 4500 over periods of time. I've not been able to find it anywhere. Thanks

Tomorrow should be interesting for the S Fund. The sellers will either come in and it won't get past it's high for the 52 week year, or it will bust through the 52 week high and continue to go up. It is hard to tell from here. I wish I could see the volume, darn. I may have to switch my signal system to the C fund, where you get more information (like the all important volume). We will see.

    Asian,

Try http://www.businessweek.com. The ticker symbol for Wilshire 4500 isdwcp. Double click on the chart for more chart options. The website shows daily volume beginning in May 2005.

    Mactrader-

Thanks, Thanks, Thanks. This is what I was looking for. I can use the other charting suggested along with the volume from this one (overall charting for businessweek is not very complete). This should work. Much Thanks
