Thread: Do you already own an HD Flat Screen TV?

aahh, i'm feeling much better now.

I got one of the last 'Tube HD Flat Screens'. It's huge compared to thin LED ones -- but I like the picture better -- and it's still HD.

None of the above. Unless the 32" one I got for Christmas last year counts as a "great big" one. I do like watching sports on it as I can follow the puck better.

The new TV caused the rotation of the older, progressively smaller ones in the bedrooms and the 12 inch with the rotating tuner out the door.

I said I would take it to a reputable recycler, the wife said we must donate it to charity. What the demand is for a 12 inch CRT, non remote control, NTSC TV these days I don't know but they gave her a receipt. I just hope they recycle it responsibly.

3 years now. 42" plasma. HD really makes a difference in picture quality.

Me a millionaire and I got a 26 inch LCD from Toshiba - and it's just what I needed.

Ummm-- yes, Id say a 32 inch is a big one. Not "great big", but "big". Far larger than televisions used to be in the "olden days".

Close enough for the poll's purposes. I was just wondering. We got one last week. A 32 incher. And that was larger than what I had before. Unfortunately, I could not find an American made television anywhere. Sad, sad day.

Depends on priorities and room size. And of course who's size chart you read.

I thought the 30 foot long living/dining room (AKA wasted space) would be a perfect place for about a 70 inch flat screen and some comfortable chairs. I was over ruled. No one has been in there since the dog died.
