    LOL, thanks SPAF, good to see you post again. I can relate to several of the above. Done my fair share of air time in one of those flying eggbeaters, experienced too-close-for comfort incidents multiple times, self or other related ops nearby, involving people I knew. First year out of college learned aircraft crashes leading COD in my profession. Never forgot. I don't go up for cheap thrills/any excuse any more, only as necessary for the job.

    My pop use to say "Do as I say, not as I do". Funny, I've thrown that one out to my son as well. It's one of those sayings that gets handed down to each generation.


    My all time favorite quote is "Remember this, I've taught you everything you know, but not everything that I know".
