A friend of mine just had his BBQ Sauce put on the shelves at Bass Pro in OKC and Tulsa. He called me yesterday and told me that his sauce is leading in sales over the rest of the sauces on their shelf. It's called Pig Cicle bbq sauce. It comes in mild and hot. I can tell you that it is good stuff. It's also for sale in Tri-City at a butcher shop just in front of Walmart. Go try a bottle its very good.

Smoked Butt - Paula Deen recipe from Food Network (Frixxxx deviation below)

    Ingredients

    • 1 (5-pound) pork butt roast
    • 4 tablespoons House Seasoning, recipe follows
    • 2 tablespoons seasoned salt
    • 4 tablespoons liquid smoke, found in grocery store
    • 1 medium onion, sliced
    • 1 cup water
    • 3 bay leaves
    • Barbeque sauce of choice, for serving
    Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Sprinkle 1 side of the roast with 2 tablespoons of the House Seasoning, making sure to rub well. Flip the roast over and rub the remaining 2 tablespoons of House Seasoning. Repeat the process with the seasoned salt and liquid smoke. Place the roast in a large roasting pan. Add the onion, water and bay leaves to the roast. Place in the oven and cook for 2 1/2 to 3 hours, or until thermometer reads 170 degrees F. Let meat cool for a few minutes and then slice.

Serve with your favorite barbeque sauce.

    House Seasoning:

    • 1 cup salt
    • 1/4 cup black pepper
    • 1/4 cup garlic powder
    Frixxxx's alteration on House Seasoning:
    • 1/3 cup salt
    • 1/4 cup black pepper
    • 1/2 cup garlic powder
    • 1/3 cup sage
    • 1/3 cup olive oil
Two tablespoons? Nope, rub it ALL ON!
THIS IS WHERE I WOULD PUT SOMETHING TO REPRESENT MY THINKING, BUT THEN THEY SHOW UP!

Well yall can talk about BBQ all you want, go ahead it doesn't faze me in the least...nope I could care less about it!

Some weird allergic reaction has my mouth full of sores -- anything tangy or salt is pure hell in my mouth. lol!
I like TSPTalk and I think most people here are well-intentioned but if I followed their advice, I'd be hunkered down in my basement with a thousand cans of tuna fish.

What do you use to slice the tortillas thin?

Just kidding. We know what you meant. It ought to be smelling pretty good about now.

Slicing the Big Whole Wheat Tortillas is easier. It turned out really good but with the side dishes I could only eat one. It's Good when It's Good!
