    Morning Spaf,

I'm still buying stocks twice a month thru Sharebuilders, but not to the degree of a lot of our folks here. I've got a small portfolio of about 19 stocks and will continue to add shares to those 19. I just wish I could buy more, but I just got to the point of maxing out my tsp about 6 months ago, so I started a Roth, with the extra funds.

I'll continue to add to the Roth regardless of what the market does, unless we have some sort of world wide castrophe and then I'll have to re-evaluate and probably continue to buy.

    Country Boy,
Having an account seperate from TSP has been a life-saver for me. Had some illnesses that were unexpected, where the other fund saved our xxx, and I didn't have to dig into our retirement account.
You are headed in the right direction! MHO!......

For those long-termers out there, this is perfect for some DCA (Dollar Cost Averaging)!

But for us "Before Noon Traders", it's time to step back until the dust settles, IMHO.

Don't become too impatient if you see GREEN on Monday.

You don't want to get caught in a bull trap!

Yep. The bulltrap is a big concern. But I still may make a small move on Monday. Im thinking about using 20-25% to make small plays while the market figures itself out. Given the increased market volitility, there should be some opportunities for some short term risky plays.

    Thanks Spaf,

I'm with on the separate account. I wanted that extra flexibility, so I wouldn't have to dip into my TSP for the unexpected and I've always hated having all my eggs in one basket.
