The Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) and the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) areas are very interesting. There are or were a lot of facilities located in those areas currently or in past years. As a young Airman filling in my “dream sheet” I chose Tonopah AFS as one of my “wishes” Unfortunately I did not understand how the systems worked and any job for me was handled by a different agency. So, I wasted that one but it didn’t matter, my career field was so overseas imbalanced I was either going OCONUS or to a mobile comm unit training to go OCONUS.

    War stories.

I wish the raiders all the luck in the world on their quest for the truth. I would also caution them to be somewhat careful.

News reports from the Roswell AAF area from 1947 (later Walker AFB) indicate all debris from the famous crash including remains was moved to Wright AAF. Later this area was referred to as Wright-Patterson AFB area B. I worked in area C at W-PAFB for seven years and no one, even old timers, ever mentioned alien spaceships or remains. Maybe secrets can be kept?

Popular culture suggests all extraterrestrials are now housed in a NYC facility somewhere near one of the Battery Tunnel ventilation buildings in Brooklyn. The truth is out there.

    Thanks for sharing nnuut.

"Area 51" is just one of those things put out there to make people think that is where they should look.

Some of us know where the REAL secret squirrel stuff is actually located.

Actually, Area 51 used to be 'that location.'

    Later, the stuff/research was relocated.

    Imo.

What's going on with this movement? I haven't heard a damn thing. Is it still on for 9/15 or some other date?

You pocket rocket guys know so much more than you would ever tell the rest of us also serving. You know who you are.

The truth is possibly out there?

    Saw this the other day...

    https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/wei...s-Nevada-video

Conspiracy theorists have long claimed the base is hiding extraterrestrial life and more than two million people have signed up to a campaign to raid the facility to find out once and for all.

Yes we are an open society, but there are some things we don't need to know and other things we shouldn't know about.
May the force be with us.

There are very few things people "need" to know. We don't "need" to explore space. We didn't "need" to explore Mars.

But true, there are things regarding proper government secrets that we, generally, shouldn't know.

But let's be specific to the topic of this thread in which you posted:

Let's suppose, for the sake of discussion, that you are the decider of what society needs to know; and of what society should know.

Now, should society be allowed to simply know whether our government has credible evidence that extraterrestrial life exists? If your decision would be 'no,' why not? [Note: the question only refers to knowledge of existence (yes we do have evidence; or no we don't). Not access to the evidence itself, and not revealing details of the evidence.]

    Thanks.

I highly recommend getting to know who Dr. Chuck Missler is and his very deep thoughts in this broad subject. I also recommend L.A. Marzulli, Steve Quayle, Tom Horn to name a few. Lots of videos online from these folks.
