I didn't know the post office was publicly funded? At least not yet :+)

I was only with them 5 years but managed to do more than my fair share of visiting room shifts. Never once saw anything that "interesting", just the typical puckers, stitches holes and dents from bullets knives or boot heels. Each had it's interesting story though. I did see a few of them's anatomy that sort of looked like they had been sneaking something around like that a time or two. I still think the nastiest part of that job was putting up with the gruesome perfumes those women bathed in to come visit. That and the cigarette smoke.
