Looks like the I-Fund will almost certainly go negative on the year after today.
The I-fund lagged in 2019 with the dollar rallying all year. There was a pullback to end the year but since hitting the 200-day EMA it has been rallying again, and the I-fund is lagging in 2020 again.
I'm sure we can pick our sports, like if there's a double top pullback near 26.64, but otherwise the I-fund will have a headwind as long as this rising trend in the dollar remains up.

I Fund outperforming S&P value by a ratio of 2+. (EFA vs. S&P Value index below)
With US value stocks tied down by low interest rates and depressed energy consumption, I Fund is starting to look like a good value play. I'm not a fan of I Fund as C has plenty of overseas exposure, but do allocate some to I.

Yeah, as long as this is falling, the I-fund should outperform...

More weakness for the dollar keeping prices afloat, especially in the I-fund.
The head and shoulders breakdown has actually reached it's downside breakdown target already.
