Thread: Anyone notice a decrease in their 'I' Fund shares?

  1. #1

Question Anyone notice a decrease in their 'I' Fund shares?

Not talking about the price of shares but the NUMBER of shares between 8/13/08 and 8/14/08.
When I use the TSP utility for check history I notice I'm 'light' about 30 +shares. Somebody else noticed the same thing to in their FERS account.
How can I have less shares if I haven't moved from the account??

If price goes up, and you were not in on the upswing your numbers of shares can go down, I would think? 30 shares seems like a lot! Nah you were in right?

Let's see, lost $.43 cents a share on the 14th. How many shares? #Shares x $.43 = loss divided by share price $23.13 = number of shares lost.
    Maybe?

The number of shares should stay contant between contributions. That sounds fishy. Call TSP.

You need to check that mine remained the same.

Just checked my acccount for those dates. Same number of shares shown for both dates. I keep a daily running tab on my account and have never found an error with TSP's calculations.
