Question for you Tom- I don’t know where to look- but I will throw this out for conversation-
Can you look at what yields were doing in the fall of 1987?
This upswing in the markets, being propelled simply by momentum, feels to me to be eerily similar to the September/October 1987 upward endless momentum- right before the 87 crash.
But I have no memory at all of bond yields at that time.
I know inverse yields have signaled several major corrections in the past, but I don’t know if they also did the same in the run up to the crash of 87. Is there any way to find the yield data for that time frame?
