TV Providers and Streaming Services - How Do You Watch TV?

This topic came up on another site I'm on, and is a constant, ongoing discussion. So, I thought I start a thread here to see what other subscribe to for their viewing pleasure.
We've been with Dish since 2005. We upgraded to 4K equipment (inside and outside) last year. We carry the Flex Pack with locals and the outdoor package added. Their most basic programming package. We access any channels not offered in the Dish package using Apple TV 4k. In all honesty, I doubt we'll keep Dish past the end of the contract when it expires in 2019. Prices just keep climbing with no end in site. High speed internet access is through our local cable provider.
Between the apps offered on Apple TV, and those on the Android tablet (Google) I got with my Vizio P series TV we lack for very little as fas as access to TV content. Truth be known, we watch Amazon Prime, Netflix, and hulu 75% of the time, local stations and sports the other 25%. And I've got an outside OTA antenna that pulls in 24 stations plus all locals. I'm also going to side load Kodi for Apple TV 4K some time in the near future and give it a try. At the lakehouse we have a cable modem with Apple TV boxes on both TVs. We've tried Fire TV and Roku, and liked both, but since Apple started offering the Amazon Prime app there was no need to keep them. Anyway, Siri will make you lazy. Just tell her what you want to watch and there it is.
Like most, I'm always looking for ways to keep TV subscription costs to a minimum while still getting the content I want.

So, what you guys and girls got? How do you watch?

Pretty simple for us. Cut the cord in 2012. Got an antenna for local stuff and also have a Roku. The only stuff we pay for is use Amazon Prime and SlingTV.

I thought it would be tough, but honestly don't miss it. Then again I don't watch all the popular TV series/shows. Sports was what I missed most but I get enough via antenna and Prime/Sling.

We have wifi and all 3 TVs are either smart or the attached bluray is smart. We subscribe to Netflix and Amazon Prime. We have a digital antenna on each TV for local channels, which actually adds up to about 25 channels.

We have a Roku on the master bedroom TV and an Amazon Fire TV box on the main TV out in the den. We have Kodi loaded on the Fire TV box. We also subscribe ($5 per month) to something called Players Klub, which gives us cable channels. On my tablet I have Kodi and Mobdro. The thing about Kodi, Players Klub, and Mobdro is that they are forever changing and you have to stay on your feet and understand that it takes occasional maintenance to keep it up to date. And, its possible that changing laws will eliminate some of our options.

The downside of our setups is that we don't use a VCR or DVR, so if a live TV thing happens and you miss it, you miss it...until you can find it on YyouTube.

We also don't get every cable network I'd like to watch, like Fox Business, Bloomberg, and OAN. The benefit, of course, is the cost. With Kodi I can potentially watch any movie I've ever heard of whenever I want.

I cut the cord 2 1/2 years ago and have never looked back. I have a smart TV and watch Netflix. I have rented a few movies on Amazon when there is something I just must see and it is not on Netflix. Since I don't watch sports or the news and absolutely HATE commercials, I have no need for an antenna.

Netflix has everything I need and more. If the day ever comes that I need more viewing options I plan to get Amazon Prime, but for now, my favorites list on Netflix has 30+ Series on it waiting to be watched and as many movies. And Netflix has such fantastic original programming that I don't see the need to pay for anything else for a long time, if ever.

And $10 per month for all the commercial free programming you want to watch! My goodness, it's like every day is Christmas!
