Rounds, not in individual case, not divided. keep it simple. other than that, I'm ok with end result.
so eventually we'll need some polls to settle format and design, but we're not there yet and i don't want to clutter the place up, i do enough of that already. i'm about set the design team in motion so let's have some more feedback along the lines of bmvenue and rmi.
the preliminary questions seem to be:
ingot (rectangle) or coin (round)
divisible (scored on reverse) or solid
generic reverse or two distinct heads/tails images
bulk or showpiece (the mint i think offers each round in an individual plastic case or tubes of 25)
if you have skin in the game, chime in.

i can't see the spreadsheet on my phone. i guess i better just dig the laptop out and fire it up since i'll need to see if it still works to do the graphics anyways.

My Suggestions are: Bulk tubes, tails side divisible (scored on reverse), 1/4 oz or .25 oz labels on the back like your example photo, and a heads image that has the logo in the center and the 4 TSP Funds around the edge in a 4 part band, so if the coin is broken you have a 1/4 piece with the words C,S, I or F Fund on the round edge... like a slice of pizza with the word S FUND being the raised crust.
Thanks,
Danny
Burro,
Count me in for 20...
I like the idea of coins with the TSPTalk Logo. Not too worried about slicing them up in pies though:-}... Maybe the obverse (the back???) could be of two designs:
1) for those who have to buy the coins like me - I never win anything, and 2) for all those monthly and annual winners out there.

Don't slow em down..keep the momentum going!! Come on folks get in now.
Burro, maybe folks would be encouraged by saying your planning coin layout in April and collecting funds in May...ordering in June. Time for everyone to get their bucks in order. Your call...your running the show! As for the refund, get creative.. There are always a few scraps (deductions/credits) people overlook...

Uh, I bought shares of Novell in the 90s. And, last year I under-performed by S&P500 by double digits. And, I still own some Microsoft shares. And, I bought a front loaded mutual fund in the 90s - with a load of 5%. And, I got back into the market on 2008/10/22.
And...
