    You're too fast clester. Thanks

I think if the deal is done and we take out Friday's low at some point, we'll be in big trouble. Otherwise the 200-day moving average turned out to be another buying opportunity.

This will probably boom the market till it reaches the top of the trading range.

Then I'm out for August, September, and October. This stupidity spooked the market, but we still have Black Swans flying about. Moody's and S&P will probably downgrade us if we don't make rather large deficit cuts - to the tune of $400 Billion a year. They probably want some tax increases as well - to cut us to the Bush era $200 - $400 Billion number or better. That means revenue/spending adjustment of $1,000 Billion or so.

My guess is that our politicians haven't seen the abyss. They are lawyers and yakkers – not financial gurus like us.
Lookin' up at the 'G Fund'!!!

And if a deal falls through, and there is no agreement?

With the bump in the futures after the potential deal agreement would have expected more push in C, S, & I funds this morning. Fellow TSP'rs - Thoughts on a short-term in and out i.e. In COB today and out around Weds.COB Hate to burn an IFT for a 1-2 day play. Will then be done for August no matter what happens. Grrrr! Curse the 2 IFT limit. With as many hanging out in the G and F funds there has to be a lot of us at least thinking about it. Hmmm...

Futures rise? Great indicator. S and P is in free fall. Any other advice?

Whatever you say, it may not be advice, but it is obviously a post without common sense.

I very, very seldom post, but that is outrageous, and a total lack of understanding of the basics.

The I fund is now down OVER 5% today, and the "S" fund is just over 3.5% down.

Quick- I need some humor for a red day....
