1700 SPX is like the whale breaching. That would be, folks, "Thar she blows." Too early this morn.

Thanks for fixing my typo Thomas. Anyway I want to give some 3 day or whenever Ben goes, easy breathing for all yous guys and gals. Ben is leaving us so put all your chips in. The market will certainly give him a nice, extended, market pop up as he walks out. And he'll want to hand the ball off chest high, no monkey business, no fumbling around, to the lady coming in. Also please note how well the I fund is doing. Adjust accordingly. SPX 1750, then 1850. Over and out.

I've noted that the popular charts are indeed popular. And the SPX is climbing to 1750 this week, as I stated it would last week. 20 more points is all I need to make me a soothsayer.

I realize of course, that to the inexperience eye, the SPX is grinding to its all time high of about 1730, yet... I know this market will get us 1750 either tomorrow or sometime next week. We are owed this jump as for years, the last 10 years, the SPX floundered at or under 1500. Now let's get real. Inflation alone states we shall see 1800 by the end of the year. But I say 1900 SPX come January.

Tapering may not kick in until the middle of 2014 - it'll be fun to reap mighty dollars.

Today please note that the SPX is at 1755 presently. Don't blink. Like driving through a small town, you'll miss it. 1770 at the end of today.

I'm just bringing out this thread because next week we're going to see three whales breach the surface. This will unleash the floodgates to bring in some big, big money to the market to begin the holidays, (which in turn will bring in more money to stocks). The S&P, the Dow, and the Nasdaq are going to plateau on some nice round numbers and the psychology of this for traders is huge. Sorta like three stars coming into alignment. Everyone get fully invested in equities in the TSP if you can. Next week I'm going to watch the market like a giddy kid waiting for Christmas morning. There are 5% to 7% gains still to come by the end of the year. January will bring us another 5%. This market is ready to pop like a champagne cork.

I admire your enthusiasm. What is it based on other than your and Birch's eternal optimism?

rktect1's thought deserves consideration or at least acknowledgement. Perhaps an answer?

    What is the magic date?

Birch, what are your children's names?

    Best of luck to all.

Predictions that everything is going up?

    Hmmmm.

That may be a sign we are about to take a tumble. I better reassess.
