Yeah, still need a notary to change FERS survivor benefits or TSP withdrawals. No idea how electronic or remote notarization would even work.

  3. Re: Just joined, interested in hearing more about seasonal investing

The most general seasonal rule of all is "sell in May and go away". That would take maybe 2 IFT's a year which makes it more than ideal.

No seasonal strategy should rely on intra-day quotes or...
  4. Re: Biden tax plan may lead to more Roth retirement accounts

Yeah, too big of a deal being made about those earning over $400k a year.

No matter how you look at it, it's over. Herd immunity is possible by summer. Markets have been looking ahead all this time while some just don't want to stop looking in the rear view mirror.

    Re: tsptalk's Market Talk

Opening gap in S&P 500 today (from 4019) partially due to Friday holiday is of concern. S&P gapped open Thursday too (from 3972). When those get reined in is anyone's guess.

Re: Expanding the TSP to Help Poor?

I don't think this is too wild of an idea. The problem is if someone is considered poor right now, how can they afford to contribute to a 401k to get the match?

Looking to be the first weekly VIX close below both the 200 DMA and 20 level since very early February 2020.
