  2. Difference between TSP Roth and Brokerage Roth IRA?

    Hello all -

I have a question about the difference between the two. Currently contributing into Roth TSP, but wondering if it would be more advantageous to start contributing to Roth IRA going...

"So, if one has two IFTs, an exit now and then entry after the drop...next week, might be a good play???"

This is me - finally exited to G yesterday. But when to re-enter? That has been...

    Re: Bquat's Account Talk

Other factors could be at play here, but I think the main catalyst was the reaction to Hoyer. The downturn occurred around 11:30am, very close to the time Hoyer contradicted Pelosi about the bill...

    Re: rangerray's Account Talk

Yikes!! Sorry to hear about that Ray. That is the absolute worst.

I'm in the same boat with 25C, 25S and made the decision to stay put. That was my original instinct, so I guess we'll see how...

    Re: The Hindenburg Omen

I read about this too and had a chuckle. Not to disparage the bears, but I love how people I haven't heard from for weeks are now coming out to brag "I told you so." But it's ok...everyone...

    Re: James48843 Account Talk

Very interesting. I was thinking of doing a similar move this month - noticing a pattern of dips in third week of the month for the last several months. Options expiration have something to do with...

    ZOOM - S Fund

DWCPF looks a little worse than other indices this morning - but I think it's attributable to Zoom? Down 15% this morning on poor guidance. Even IWM looks better.

    Re: Peloton recalling all treadmills

I own some Peloton stock, but purchased May lows so today's downturn didn't hurt me too badly.

I listened in on the earnings call yesterday, and still believe in the company and its future...

    Re: rangerray's Account Talk

I went in the opposite direction and added more yesterday. I am betting the Delta uncertainly and negative economic data won't push Feds to make any aggressive moves, helping the markets stay afloat....

    Re: DreamboatAnnie's Account Talk

NAAIM standard deviation is also comparatively higher than other weeks - possibly indicating there is a huge difference of opinion among smart money as well (58.22 this week, 38.54 last week).

I actually meant focusing on S more than C... so sorry for the confusion (I noticed more discussions/charts related to S fund than C fund after I joined this year). And by the way, thank you so much...

Bquat, may I ask what DBA's rectangle is? Are those the top and bottom trendlines? Also I've been wondering why there appears to be greater focus on the C fund rather than the S fund. Is it...

Thanks Bquat, I suppose I was wondering if there was a chance this area could serve as support. Just wishful thinking coupled with incomplete knowledge.

I'm new to all of this so apologies in advance if this has already been looked at, but what do you think abut the 100 ema? That's what the S fund appears to be resting in my chart, and...
