    Re: Flalaw97's Account Talk

Looks like the pros are expecting the bulls to continue to dominate: the NAAIM jumped up to 102.93 (from 73.05 last week and 58.25 the week before).

    Re: PessOptimist's Account Talk

So do today's gains get added to tomorrow's gains/losses to arrive at the final TSP share price for tomorrow (no new TSP share prices will be posted today correct?)?

    Re: coolhand's Account Talk

NAAIM dropped from 95 to 53. Last time it dropped that much was in March. I think you are right that we are in for a few more weeks in Bearish country.

    Re: coolhand's Account Talk

NAAIM dropped 12% from 8/26 to 9/2. I am guessing this Thursday it drops another 10% at least. Because of the week gap in between surveys, it wouldn't surprise me if they are already headed bearish...

    Re: Kb9nvh account talk

I think most people on this site look at the G fund as a safe place to put cash while waiting to move it into the market. The F fund long term has obviously had better returns than G but there is...

    Re: Whipsaw's Account Talk

What indicators are you looking for that would cause you to bail? I am looking at VIX, NAAIM, and embedded slow stochastics - all of which seem to indicate to me that it is o.k. for now.

    Re: Bquat's Account Talk

Got it. I think you are right that we are approaching the end of this rise. Kind of like when the roller coaster starts clicking slower and slower as it reaches the summit. The VIX went up a bit...

    Re: Bquat's Account Talk

What do you mean by "Don't think I want to enter after missing this move" ? If the chart is bullish, and the slow stochastics are embedded, VIX is down and NAAIM is strong bullish, wouldn't you want...

Too bearish for who? It seems like your approach is where you are comfortable - willing to miss a little on the upside to be sure not to lose much on the downside.
