Re: The new TSP website is an unmitigated disaster!

Well I finally managed to setup my account after receiving my snail mailed one time code.

First experience not so good. It took me three times to login to the thriftline phone menu. It kept...

Re: The new TSP website is an unmitigated disaster!

Are you saying the money from our paychecks and matching contributions aren't being deposited? This is getting worse by the hour.
  4. Re: Can you still make IFTs via the TSP Phone line With Your New Six Digit Pin?

When I call the thriftline I get the standard High Volume message. After that I press 1 and get the numbered menu message. 1 for account access, 3 for account creation, etc. When I press 1 it asks...
  5. Re: Can you still make IFTs via the TSP Phone line With Your New Six Digit Pin?

The wait time is to talk to a person. You should be able to press 1 after logging in with the pin to use the phone menu and follow the directions. The old menu let you make IFTs. I don't know if...
  6. Re: Where to move your TSP funds in retirement.

That's what I was afraid of.
  7. Where to move your TSP funds in retirement.

When I retire I was planning on leaving my money in TSP. Now, like Finland on the NATO question, I have done a complete 180. My only question is where to put it. I'm looking for recommendations.

    I...
  8. Re: Are they working this weekend to fix this train wreck of an "Upgrade"

No they were not working this weekend. I tried setting up my account using the phone menu and the automated voice said it couldn't because there was no one on duty. I was advised to call back...

Re: NEW WEBSITE IS NOW ACTIVE- SIGN UP NOW.

I tried setting up my account over the thrift line phone menu this weekend and it said it couldn't because there are no representatives on hand.
The webpage was no better. I ended up on a page that...

Re: NEW WEBSITE IS NOW ACTIVE- SIGN UP NOW.

Yeah, I've been using the phone menu on the thriftline at work because TFA on the web calls my home phone. I tried it just now and that no longer works either. You have to setup your account there...

    Re: James48843 Account Talk

I remembered the day we had a 10% one day drop in the S Fund so I had to go back and check the numbers. Turns out we had several 7% down days in 2008. Here are some days in that range:

    Re: DreamboatAnnie's Account Talk

Yeah, I got that and was afraid they would break it worse than it already is for me. I think this only affects the web interface which I can't use from work anymore because TFA is tied to a single...

    Re: Cactus' Account Talk

Wow, the S Fund underperformed the C Fund by over 16% this last year. It has never been so much less since we got the S Fund in 2001.

It looks like inflation pressures are hitting the small caps...
