    Re: ravensfan's Account Talk

Rode that S wave right up to 11/25. Hoping for a little pull back and then right on that surfboard for another ride.

    Re: coolhand's Account Talk

I would be happy if the market takes a little breather this week. Then I'm off the lily pad and back into the "S" fund.

Good luck everybody. I expect another surge once the vaccines get approval...

    Re: bmneveu's Account Talk

I would like to see a little pull back. I went to "G" Wednesday because of so many gaps right now in the "S" fund. That and I was comfortable where I am in my account. Good luck everyone.

    Re: nasa1974's Account Talk

I can't remember the last time I was in the "G" fund but I went 100% "G". I like where I am at currently and will wait a few days. I still have one more IFT for November. Good luck everyone.

    Re: nasa1974's Account Talk

I posted the above on the 13th. Talk about going bullish since then. The "S" fund has had a surprising run for the month, so far. Looking at the Tracker the "S" fund has moved into the top 100. Out...

You do get a yearly cost of living increase with SS, but if you invest some of the money you can definitely do better than the COL.

Do you think the Oxford University results on their vaccine may have something to do with the market?

    Re: coolhand's Account Talk

Oxford University says their vaccine is 70% effective and could be 90% if tweaked a little bit. Good news for the market.
  14. Re: Retirement Talk - Deciding When to Claim Your Monthly Social Security Benefits

    Evilanne,

For social security you want to do the math. The difference between FRA and 70 to collect or even when you become eligible say at 62/63. Here is an example, but it doesn't include...

  19. Re: 12 million Americans set to lose unemployment benefits by year's end

I don't think the Main Stream Media was warning that a vaccine was not possible. I think they questioned the timeline. A vaccine can take 3-5 years to test, produce and distribute. Now enough...
