    Re: tsptalk's Market Talk

I think that is because the market cares more about potential lockdowns than the actual COVID virus, and with all the positive vaccine news coming out day after day, it seems like we are distancing...

    Re: bmneveu's Account Talk

Cup and Handle formed on Pinterest (PINS) since the end of October with a breakout over the handle for confirmation. I entered at $69, targeting $81.50.

Also bought AMD yesterday at $94 with a...

AMD - Bull Pennant, points up
ZM - Head and Shoulders, points down
SIRI - Reverse Head and Shoulders and/or Cup and Handle, points up...

    Re: tsptalk's Market Talk

The market gaps up or down because of light volume trading in pre market hours. The market is not in equilibrium in that time. So when the market opens and the price is siginificantly different than...

    Re: bmneveu's Account Talk

What a month. +19.57% for the S fund. RSI suggests it has been extremely overbought for about 2 weeks now. Odd timing too as we head into what is usually a good time of year for stocks, the santa...

Nothing wrong with that. We should all be rooting for each other to make as much money as possible!
  9. Re: Bitcoin shoots past $18,000 for the first time since December 2017

Negative. Fees are far lower through Robinhood or Binance. But all the PayPal volume is what is pumping BTC price up. Just read this morning they are at 75% of Binance volume already, and Binance is...

Re: Share Your TSP Balance and Your Age Thread

It almost always is. Hard to know if you will be in a higher or lower tax bracket when you are taking the money out, but you do know that the gains on your contributions are tax free, whereas they...
  12. Re: Bitcoin breaks above $16,000 for the first time since January 2018

I made this video last night talking about the patterns. We were at $15.5K then, and today we are at $16.1K already. So, moving quick and hard to keep up but the points I make are all still relevant....

Re: Changes made - any issues?

So will yesterday's numbers add into today's numbers and give us a sum at the end of today?
  14. Re: Bitcoin breaks above $16,000 for the first time since January 2018

There are two massive chart patterns pointing up on this. Cup and Handle, and Reverse Head and Shoulders. Both indicate much higher prices from here.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but.... pivot to I Fund? Two days in a row it is outperforming domestic stocks.

    Re: bmneveu's Account Talk

Boy did those early gains sell off hard in the afternoon. My TSP still did well but my individual account got slammed as its mostly tech. Luckily that account is a fraction of my TSP.
