    Re: FireWeatherMet Account Talk

Gasoline futures much lower than the national average. ($3.05 vs $4.01) Even with gas taxes, that's a big discrepancy with possible lower gas prices at the pump coming in the weeks or months ahead.

I don't like when resistance is broken higher with a gap up since it almost guarantees backfilling somewhere along the line. Would rather have seen an open in the red, then the big move. Massive...

  8. Re: JOBS REPORT: 528,000 JOBS, RATE DOWN TO 3.5 pct

Get it to 3% next meeting then wait for things to catch up. The fed always overdoes it on both ends (cutting and raising rates).

Re: Oil Effect on Commodities and Inflation

I agree peak inflation has probably passed. Gasoline demand is below where it was at the same time in August 2020. If only the US had more refinery capacity.

  10. Re: Does the Inflation Reduction Act violate Bidenís $400,000 tax pledge? Expect 'a d

Agree with fireweather that inflation has probably peaked. Thanks to high prices, gasoline demand is starting to dwindle and prices are starting to come down. The administration will take full...

Big insider selling in NVDA in previous months though. NVDA's big run was mostly due to crypto miners.
