    Re: bmneveu's Account Talk

2023 was wild. Completed my first WESTPAC deployment. TSP hit 6 digits for the first time. Back in Hawaii now and it's been tough to be as involved in the market out here due to the time difference....

Fear/Greed Indicator is in extreme fear territory. Markets are quite oversold. Buying opportunity, went 100% C Fund.

    Re: bmneveu's Account Talk

Volatility is so high now, one of these days we are going to have a huge up day. It would be nice to capture that with a quick IFT, but betting on a dead cat bounce is a dangerous game. For now I'm...

Large caps look like the place to be during the higher interest rate environment.

The theory is that small caps (and even larger but unprofitable companies) rely more on debt to finance...

Absolute rip off. Assume a 1% fee from the mutual fund itself and those fees add up to 2.79% ($279) for a $10,000 investment. Compared to 0.059% ($5.90) for the S Fund.

The aggregate bonds AGG ETF (F Fund) completed a head and shoulders pattern, and reached the price target based on the pattern. This is something I've been tracking but never made a trade on. This is...

The S&P 500 and Russell 2000 both bounced off key fibonacci retracement levels, suggesting the floor may be in. I will post the charts and a video later this evening.

I don't think we move the market at all. The amount we hold is significant, but the amount we actually move on a given day is nothing compared to the big banks.

Nice break above the recent high range of $44K, now into the $47K range. Haven't been here since late December / early January. Looking bullish.

So there are more bears and less bulls (or more bearish and less bullish overall), but NAAIM went higher. How does that work?

Ideally you want the mortgage and any large debts to be be paid off by then, which is another reason why you shouldn't need as much of an income as before.
