Going back to F-Fund.
Finally making a move this year... switching from F-fund to S-fund.
Not picking up any changes to the plan. Still continue to be all F-Fund through most of the week.
I will remain in F-Fund through Friday.
offroad,
Also remember that a loss is mathematically worse than a gain (percentage-wise). A quick example:
Starting Amount: $1000
If you lost 10% after the first year your account will be...
Same for this week. Staying in F-fund until at least Friday.
DC has a huge snow storm planned for this Friday/Saturday, so I plan on trudging through the snow to find any restaurant or bar open...
Welcome, dhubs!
I'll be in F-Fund until at least Friday.
Yeah, I am like 300lbs, but "carry it well" :P
I am in F-Fund at least until Wednesday!

Hey, all.
Since December I have created and have been testing a timing model that I whipped up. Of course, I know there is a lot of doubt that a timing system can actually be successful, however,...
I will continue this thread, but TSP.gov no longer has data back before 2003. But this time, I will be point out dates where the one dollar investment doubles....

Thanks! (Fingers crossed)

I know you benders need your alcohol... If I start a brewery I'll let you know.
In the mean time, 2039 :(
It would be wise for me to wait the many years in Federal Gov to retire, but I may not make it. Money isn't everything... I would love to start a brewery in a few years. I would be broke and it would...
Anyone read Stephen Losey's article, "Thousands get huge raises"
I agree with the point that a promotion should not be guarenteed, but the article reads like it is costing the government money...
yes the new moon...
I wouldn't worry. In 35 years when you cash out your TSP you will be glad you had a chance to buy low!
Remember, you have a VERY long time to accumulate. Any bumps in the road for the next 20...
Seems like a nice sell so far!
:):suspicious::blink::mad::mad::mad::(
I guess it was good I was optimistic...
Im staying in... I expect a massive turn around at around 1pm
I didn't read the minutes, but seems like it could just be an error. Buying high and selling low would make sense as being a dis-service.
Totally agree. If you do, you worry yourself to death. Death doesn't make for a good retirement!
I have noticed this too. If I have a strong desire to sell, but don't sell (for what ever reason) most of the time it tends to reverse direction. I told this to my brother who was losing his shirt...
