Gold and oil is where it "be at" right now :D Wish the TSP had a fund for gold / silver
Price action smashed through support while MACD crossed downwards. Still in a downtrend so the bears are still in control. One thing though was the volume was small for such a big move down.

In GLD today @181.30, still in the F fund on my TSP acct
My apartment within a year went up 20%, it's nuts. But I even think with a housing crash, the value won't go down much. Hawaii property costs barely flinched when 2008 happened, there's always gonna...
The news out of Russia is crazy. I thought it was nothing but a bunch of posturing and prick waving at first, but reports are saying this is much larger than a typical exercise.
Crazy couple days. For some reason F fund is up, any reason why? It was recently performing in lockstep with the SPY so it was starting to look like a not-so-great hedge against downside
The F fund is really "F"ing me up :D
No idea if Powell will even do anything, he's proven to be spineless so far. But history says rate hikes are usually bad for the stock market. Though I don't think anyone without insider info can...
My system is flashing bear market alert. I'm staying in cash on my brokerage and roth IRA accounts. Just sold NRGU today for a 56% gain, the year is off to a good start :)
Hey guys, sorry for the late response and thanks for the input! Yeah my dream is to retire at 50, and have the FU money to exit the workforce comfortably if I'm able. I personally don't buy the...
He told me one day the S&P would shoot up 500 points in a day, and when that happens I'd **** nickles and he'd be there to sweep them up :D
I'm a fan of Elon, he's one of the great innovators of this generation
Yep. There's a reason why people my age aren't counting on ever collecting Social Security. It probably won't be there when it's my turn
So we have to pay it over the course of the entire year? I was hoping to get it over with by April and it'd be over by the time I get my step 5 promotion lol, so it'd seem like a nice pay raise...
Good for you. I decided to give up social media in January and already I feel more productive
Same here, I stopped trying to play the short game a long time ago, and started to win a lot more as a result. Learned that it's usually an exercise in futility betting against something that's...
Sounds like that person has a gambling problem. That usually ends in disaster. I dabbled with options in the past, and although the rush of calling a move perfectly can be awesome, you can lose your...
Crazy 2020 year! I had a lot going on in my life, so I decided (after reading a few books especially) to go the BirchTree route and buy and hold (yeah I know, everything against what this site says...
I only got $200, I gave it to my gf who works in the tourism industry and has been furloughed for most of 2020.
Premiums keep going up, benefits keep going down. The same health plan I had for years had a pretty nice cost increase, meanwhile, it now only covers 1 dental cleaning per year (used to be 2)
I...
