    Default Firewall Timeout

I've been having trouble for awhile now posting on the forum and then getting a firewall timeout that causes me to have to attempt the post all over again. Hopefully I remembered to copy my text, otherwise I have to type it all over again. What I've now found is that if that if that firewall page comes up, just "refresh" the page and hit the "resubmit" button and the post has gone through every time after doing that.

    IT,

That is a problem I get also. It is a random, but the resolve is just what you stated.

Good to know. I have learned to alwase save my text before submitting in case the Securifirewall comes up but I'll try this the next time it does.

Been having the same issue for sometime now and was always able to post by hitting the refresh button. Just never thought about sharing with the forum. Guess I just didn't realize others may be having trouble as well.

Thanks I_T for bringing this issue to light.

I see you are using an IP address from a work address. I wonder if folks who share an IP address are the ones having a problem... although I don't thinks that's Intrepid's case.

Sure, I get it at work...and I've been reporting this for months, actually years, now....this is not a new problem.

But I didn't get it on that post...

But it did log me out and require me to log in...

Which has also been happening for years without solution...

Have at it...I won't say it can't get worse from whatever fix you try. I will let you know.

Are you getting a "Hosting Server Connect Timeout" or are you being kicked off the TSP site and then having to log back in?

I get kicked out all the time, every time, I change forums, post on forums in any way (new thread, reply, etc); and sometimes I get that server thing with the firewall too, but it kicks me out too.

I have to log in every time I get kicked out. It doesn't forget my posts, though, they show up.
