    Default Forum Problems Solved?

I with the help of TSPTalk Tom have solved the problems I had in the Forum. This may NOT work with Members that use other than FireFox, Windows 8.1 and PCMatic Virus Program.

    1. I White listed Https://www.tsptalk.com, that means opening the PCMatic program by clicking the green shield while in the Forum and double Clicking the Blue Continuous Icon at the top right, it will change color and means it won't protect the forums, close that.

2.Move to the top left and select FireFox TOOLS then go to OPTIONS select PRIVACY and SECURITY. Under FORMS and PASSWORDS uncheck Ask to save Logins and passwords for websites. Click on SAVED LOGINS, If TSPTalk is there remove it. Close that and Logout of TSPTalk and Close Firefox.

3.Open Firefox and and TSPTalk and go to the Forums Page, Login and check the box REMEMBER ME, you may have to check REMEMBER ME whenever you login.

Works for me I hope it works for you!!!!!computer4.gif

I'm not sure what you guys did but I can finally log on and stay on. Thank you. Thank you . Thank you.

Nope it logged me off just after I posted this.

I couldn't stay on with all the websites; IE, Edge, Firefox or Google from home or work.

    I'll try the fix.

Well I went through everything in Firefox and changed nothing. Just clicked the remember me and I have stayed logged on so far. I guess I will check the other sites and see what happens.

Just a FYI. After checking remember me I have closed down the browser and then opened tsptalk two days later and was still logged in. If you are concerned about this, remember to click Log Out in the upper right before you close your browser.

That doesn't happen to me. Might be how Firefox is handling your history and Cookies and site data. Look under Options / Privacy and Security. I clear history when Firefox is closed, and clear cookies when Firefox is closed. And list https://www.tsptalk.com as an EXCEPTION.

I don't post that often but I have been doing more lately and when I post a reply I often get the Securi Firewall screen and when I try again often have to re-type the message. I have started copying and pasting before sending but is there a problem or a fix for this issue?
    Thanks!

I haven't tried EDGE, but do have a Computer with Win 10 and Edge. It's the wife's computer and I very seldom use it. If she ever gets off of it I'll take a look at it.

Logged into Edge a couple days ago and it wouldn't keep me logged in. Checked the remember me box and it has been working ok since.

I forgot to mention that I have to check the remember me box every time I log in for the day.

Just FYI...couldn't get edit to work correctly using firefox....I had to retype the entire message. No biggie for me, just FYI in case it is part of something larger.

Also, I just noticed that reply with quote is not including the quote.
