I'll have to start using tapatalk more to see if I can replicate that.
By desktop version I assume you mean the forum software that is not tapatalk, but not the actual forum software used on a desktop - if that makes sense.
I know when I use the non-tapatalk version of the forum I get the more antiquated forum app by default rather than just the normal version of the forum page that you get when you browse on a desktop. I can't figure out a way to bypass that but I'll take a look.
