Thread: Adding seasonality chart

    Default Adding seasonality chart

    Tom,

Would it be possible for you to add the following month's seasonality chart to your daily market summary? Perhaps in the last week of the current month you can add next month's seasonality chart so that we could get a gauge on how the following month historically has performed.

it would be helpful as we enter the last week of a given month to project forward and see what season ality is like for the following month. This would be a great help I think is it possible to add it to your commentary page every month?

    Thanks.

I see that Tom added next month's (June 2019) seasonality chart in today's commentary for us. Thanks Tom! That really helps TSP'ers make informed decisions.

    Splendid!

Below updated chart from Argus. September has seasonality against it. Normally people are getting back from vacations and heading back to work and businesses start putting out fiscal year guidance.

In addition to the previous above post,
Historical seasonality suggests the beginning of the best part for world equity returns start on October 12th. On average, two-thirds of equity returns occur in the last 10 weeks of the year.
