Top CFOs are as bullish on the Dow and as dovish on the Fed as they’ve been in a long time: CNBC survey

CFOs are roundly positive on the performance of the Federal Reserve and increasingly believe it can stick the “soft landing” for the economy, according to the latest quarterly survey of the CNBC CFO Council.

That’s despite the fact that chief financial officers believe inflation will remain above the Fed’s target of 2% until at least 2025, and a significant percentage of CFOs don’t expect the central bank to begin cutting interest rates until September.

The CNBC CFO Council Survey is a quarterly snapshot of views from a select number of CFOs comprising the 100 member-plus council.
