Damn- every time I turn around a broker company I am in is selling out to some other corporate giant.
I bought stocks in 1996 from a predecessor company - about six companies ago. I still hold the shares on paper, but I would have no idea where to go look for the actual shares being held- that building closed long ago.

Curious to see what this merger is going to look like. I imagine they will be pushing robo-managed accounts quite aggressively.
TD was an upgrade over Scottrade. I'm thinking this next move will be another upgrade for TD users but not so much for Schwab users.
