New highs for the new year were made yesterday (1/2/2020) with the momentum from December bleeding into 2020. New highs are great for investors who already own company shares but what about the underinvested? One can be more selective when picking individual stocks but when the you have three choices (C, S, and I) for TSP stock investments you've got to value entire indices to make your decision.
The collective P/E ratio for an index has its benefits to decide whether indices' market prices match their values. Another potentially useful measure is the index price to the hourly cost of the average American worker.
