    Default NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER

Per usual notice- if there is a tropical storm bordering on potential Hurricane, the National Hurricane Center issues maps and warnings.

Today they are posting about Tropical Storm Emily- which is about to make landfall in Florida- with sustained winds now at 45 MPH and climbing.

Once it crosses Florida- it's forecasted to run up the eastern seaboard- offshore- but not inland at this time- .

Keep your eyes on this one, just in case.

My daughter's home is in Harvey's bullseye at Fulton TX. Her husband, the mayor, and Rockports mayor working hard together to be sure the towns people are out of there. Residents of Nursing homes and prisoners out of the area. I don't know how the oystermen have secured their boats...their livelihoods. Prayers gratefully accepted. Thank you, with all my heart...

Prayers and best wishes to all in Harvey's path.

As strange as this will sound, here on the north coast we lost power for three days when Sandy hit the east coast a few years back.

    Good luck to all.
May the force be with us.

My family okay, property not. Mayor Kendrick, and Aransas County Judge Mills TV interview showed the heartbreaking feelings they have, taking it all personally. Rockport larger, damage more extensive. Continuing prayers for all who are being touched by this; and as the power companies are able to clear areas enabling house-to-house searches, that no more deaths are discovered. We have Federal workers all thru this part of Texas. from the whole of the gulf, to San Antonio, on up north... as if the wind itself wasn't enough..the water....

Thinking of and praying for all those affected by Harvey.

Still more rain and winds from Harvey expected to continue:

Winds greater than 39 MPH expected over the next 5 days here:

    And rainfall continuing here:

    Not very pretty stuff.
