A "non-responsive" woman was found and brought to a hospital by a USCG Helicopter Rescue Crew tonight leaving just one missing. Let us all pray for her and the one remaining missing crew member. Also prayers of thanks to these USCG Heroes that bring our sailors home!

From the HMS Bounty facebook page a few minutes ago:
PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Coast Guard recovered the body of a woman and continues to search for a man missing in the Atlantic Ocean approximately 90 miles southeast of Hatteras, N.C., Monday.

    Recovered was: Claudene Christian, 42

    Missing is: Robin Walbridge, 63

A crew aboard an MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Elizabeth City, N.C., located Christian who was unresponsive, hoisted her into the helicopter and took her to Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City. Our condolences and prayers go out to her family and friends.
    Prayers for the missing crewman.

I read they were transiting from the south to the north and thought they could skirt the storm. In hindsight one asks WTH?

They had left drydock after a month of repairs/maintenance in Boothbay Harobr, Maine, and then Connecticut on October 25th and were trying to get to St Augustine, Florida, and then around the bottom of Florida for a winter on the Texas coast.
