I think this has to do with the Megaupload site fallout. Something about filesharing between websites that reults in internet piracy.
Just what Are the Other services Google owns?
...considering I found this in my e-mail yesterday from Washington Post:
http://www.washingtonpost.com/busine...HOQ_story.htmlIn a company blog post, Google privacy director Alma Whitten said that “if you're signed in, we may combine information you've provided from one service with information from other services. In short, we'll treat you as a single user across all our products, which will mean a simpler, more intuitive Google experience."
I think this has to do with the Megaupload site fallout. Something about filesharing between websites that reults in internet piracy.
May the force be with us.
